Trivium Musica Flute and Guitar Duo
Brian Desjarlais (Classical Guitar) and Kristen Hill (Flute)
Flutist Kristen Hill and Classical Guitarist Brian Desjarlais began collaborating in 2004 on the works of Astor Piazzolla. Upon recognizing their potential as a duo, Kristen and Brian prepared a Latin inspired concert program, based on tangos and dances from Argentina, Cuba and Spain. They have performed this program on numerous occasions to great audience appreciation.
This year marks their sixth year of performing as a duo in Southwestern Ontario. Kristen and Brian are continually working on new repertoire from around the world to make their concerts exciting and edgy. Their passion to tell a story through their music is evident in every performance, making Trivium Musica a unique and memorable chamber music experience.
Concerts and Recitals
The Trivium Musica Flute and Guitar Duo is available for concerts and recitals. Having performed at schools, churches and intimate halls all over Southern Ontario, they are a perfect option for an enjoyable evening of chamber music. Trivium Musica performs classical, Latin American and Celtic music in concert, and their performances are fun, edgy and exciting.
For school concerts, Trivium Musica offers a compelling concert and educational experience. They typically perform a 45 minute concert with the flute and guitar duo, in addition to offering a one hour clinic for flute and guitar students. Please contact us for pricing details.
